problems

X word was perfect for my needs..I added an upgrade of $11.99…now since I upgraded my MAC to latest OS X EI Capitan it is no longer working. It will not open…it just flashes up and won’t open..
is this to force me to buy a MAC word processing product? Why is this offered then? Is this temporary and I just need to be patient?
